RULE 1
You want your kiddo to come to the table hungry. Stay strong and don't give in to the post-afternoon nap snack requests!
RULE 2
A hangry toddler = a hectic mealtime. If they’re too hungry or it’s nearing bedtime, all bets are off and you really can’t expect decent behavior.
RULE 3
Let your toddler know what to expect, by: 1. Asking for input on the menu ("do you want macaroni noodles or spaghetti?") 2. Giving your toddler a head's up about what you're eating.
RULE 4
People (including toddlers) are more cooperative when they’re invested in the finished product. So have your toddler help with the preparation of the meal.
